Batanes is a group of 10 volcanic islands in the northern Philippines known for its excellent dive sites and superb visibility. Referred to as the “New Zealand” of the Philippines, Batanes enjoys pleasant weather, beautiful hills, and breathtaking coastal areas. The province has preserved its authentic Filipino architecture, including Ivatan stone houses, traditional culture, and cuisine that stood the test of time.

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the largest dive agency in the world, operating in 186 countries and territories. It has a global network of more than 6,600 dive centers and resorts, as well as over 128,000 professional members.
SSI (Scuba Schools International) is another dive agency, with more than 3,500 authorized dealers and 35 regional centers, along with offices worldwide.
Both PADI and SSI offer internationally recognized diver training programs, and their certifications are widely accepted. It’s important to note that both organizations are for-profit entities.
