Dauin 15km south of Dumaguete, is famous for its black volcanic sandy beaches and muck diving. It is a haven for photographers into macro critters. Along Dauin are over 30 dive sites, with Apo Island being the must-visit “volcanic” dive spot. Nearby, dive sites at Siquijor offer vibrant walls and wreck diving.
Dumaguete is known as the “City of Gentle People.” Dumaguete province offers other activities besides diving, including trekking, golfing, and dolphin and whale watching.

Atlantis has two resorts: one in Dauin and another in Puerto Galera. With decades of experience, both are exceptionally well managed, particularly in SCUBA diving and customer services.
Atlantis Resorts are PCSSD certified, and so are their SSI dive instructors. Equipment and facilities are meticulously maintained and regularly serviced to ensure they are in excellent condition.
Atlantis Resorts offers scuba diving experience and dive courses for all skill levels. The resorts also provide wellness programs, land-based activities, and island-hopping tours. Their restaurants and bars feature East-West cuisine, which deserves special mention.
As they say at Atlantis: “Come as our guest, leave as our friend.”
