Palau Sipadan is renowned as one of the world’s top dive sites. Located off the coast of Borneo, Malaysia, Sipadan is famous for its incredible marine biodiversity and vibrant coral reefs. Sipadan is highly regulated and has limited daily diving permits to maintain the pristine condition of this marine sanctuary.
While divers can expect schools of barracuda and jacks, reef sharks, sea turtles, and other pelagic in Sipadan, the nearby Mabul and Kapalai offer a wonderland of macros, seahorses, pipefish, blue-ring octopus, and colorful nudibranchs.

Kapalai Dive resort iis ranked among the top 10 most luxurious resorts in East Malaysia, according to travellers. Built on stilts above the Ligitan Reefs, the resort features a mile-long sandbar with powdery white sand and stunning turquoise waters, creating an idyllic escape to a sunny paradise.
Located just a boat ride away is the Sipadan Marine Park, where Kapalai has secured the necessary permits for divers to legally explore this marine sanctuary. Additionally, the surrounding waters boast pristine reefs rich in marine biodiversity, making them a perfect spot for divers to discover and enjoy.
